The app is free; DraftSI uses credits
TellMeCAD itself costs nothing. DraftSI runs on a paid AI service, so each step it takes uses credits from your account. How many depends on the work and on the speed you pick (Quick, Standard or Thorough). Options ▸ Account in the app shows your balance and recent use.
- Credits are prepaid and never expire.
- Credits have no cash value. You can't move them to another account or exchange them for money, except through a refund under our refund policy. [REVIEW]
- Before each step we set aside enough credits to cover it, and charge only what it used. If you don't have enough free, DraftSI asks you to pick a quicker speed, start a new conversation or buy credits.
- If you stop a step or close TellMeCAD while it runs, you pay for the work the model did until then. When the exact figure isn't available, we estimate it from how long the model ran.
- Rarely, a step costs more than was set aside, and your balance dips a little below zero. The difference comes out of your next credits.
Your account
- One account per email address. You sign in with a code we email you; there is no password.
- Keep your email account safe: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
- You are responsible for what happens on the computers signed in to your account. You can sign any of them out from Options ▸ Account.
Free starter credits
New accounts can get 200 [TBC] free credits to try DraftSI. We approve them by hand, usually within [DECIDE: approval time]. We may decline them or change the amount, and an account gets them once at most. While you wait, you can still buy credits.
Fair use and limits
- To protect you and the service, an account can use up to about 2,000 [TBC] credits a day and run only a few steps at the same time. We may change these limits.
- We may pause DraftSI for everyone for a while, for example for maintenance or when costs run unexpectedly high.
- Don't use DraftSI to break the law or harm others, and don't try to get around its limits or our payments. Don't share or resell your account. What you send to DraftSI must follow our acceptable use policy and Anthropic's usage policies, because DraftSI runs on Anthropic's AI model. [REVIEW]
Check DraftSI's work
DraftSI can make mistakes. It shows its changes so you can keep or undo them; check them before you rely on them. Your drawings, and what you do with them, remain your responsibility.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that abuses the service or these terms. If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback), we take back the credits left from that purchase and may suspend the account until the dispute is settled. A suspended account can't use DraftSI, buy credits or sign in again, though computers already signed in still show its balance. Write to us to sort it out. [REVIEW]
Payments and refunds
Credit packs are sold through Creem, which processes the payment as merchant of record; its terms for buyers apply to the payment itself. Refunds follow our refund policy.
No warranty
